overcoded

Overcoded is a 2-player local co-op game inspired by Overcooked — but set in the chaos of surviving computer science semesters.

Work together to build “homework recipes”:

1) Grab component inputs (Frontend template, Backend template, Database task, Math task)

2) Process them at the matching MODIFY desks (hold interact; progress persists)

3) Combine them at the REPO station

4) Deliver through SUBMIT before deadlines

Features:

- 6-level co-op campaign with escalating difficulty

- Orders with deadlines + streak/bonus incentives for teamwork

- Clear HUD guidance for the next step in the active recipe

- Adjustable render quality (F6) and HUD density (Tab)

Controls:

- Player 1: WASD

- Player 2: Arrow keys

- Interact: Right Shift or Right Ctrl

- Drop: Right Alt

- Pause: Esc / P
